Dear Reader,

I've written these novels with the hope that one day you'd find them. Even here on the internet. While the BOOK is the ideal experience, I understand the challenges of our time. I travel a lot and am get happy when from all walks of life I see Dutch, Chinese or Russian old people or young girls sitting on a plane, train or bus stop with a book in their hands. It doesn’t matter who the author is, it doesn't matter what it's about, what truly matters is that people are reading, and reading a BOOK.

The essence of my writing remains unchanged, whether you're holding a physical copy or reading digitally.

I believe a writer's purpose is just one: making the life both kind and interesting. But to achieve it, you have to make friends with the reader.

Well, I extend a hand of friendship to you. And my characters eagerly await your acquaintance.

They'll share a message I believe you already understand: live freely and be strong. But both freedom and strength should have bounds and measure. To the extent that they in no way harm anything that does not deserve to be harmed: a man, a sparrow, a donkey, a flower and even the stones, from which a flower unexpectedly grew. The only thing that knows no bounds is kindness. More precisely, the only thing that should know no bounds is kindness.
